From the beginning of his public affairs work, Jim Freeman has championed public safety issues. Over the years, he has rapidly become the State’s leading advocate for police officers and his agency now represents over 65 California Police Associations, more than any other political consulting firm.

What these Police Officer Associations have come to know is that Jim Freeman will fight for public safety and for the men and women who protect the State’s residents, businesses and schools. He will grow the needed public support to ensure communities understand the value of safe neighborhoods, and that this support includes adequate funding for fair compensation, sufficient staffing, advanced training and effective resources. If necessary, Freeman leads grassroots campaigns to get public safety initiatives on local ballots. In tandem with his public outreach, Freeman seeks out and supports elected officials and aspiring candidates who value Police Officers and the services they provide.

Whether it’s saving a city’s Police Department or getting a UUT initiative for public-safety funding on the ballot, Jim Freeman has made a name for himself in law enforcement. He serves organizations as diverse as the Los Angeles School Police Association and L.A. Airport Peace Officers. City, County and State police Associations call on Freeman when they need help getting their message out to the public.

Freeman views it as his mission to keep public safety issues at the top of the political agenda, even when there’s no headline-grabbing threat and especially in tough economic times when resources are tight and other needs seem pressing.

“My job, as an advocate for Police Officers, is to make sure their services are recognized and appreciated. I see myself as being there for those who are always there for us. That’s my job and I consider it an honor.”
